Organiser and Eligibility

The Organiser of this contest is Sangla Foods Sdn Bhd (222602-A). a company incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 and having its registered address at Lot 4, Jalan U1/25A, Hicom Glenmarie Industrial Park Shah Alam, Selangor , 40000, Malaysia.

By participating in this Contest, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

Sangla Foods Sdn Bhd reserves the right to terminate the Contest at any time without prior notice.

Sangla Foods Sdn Bhd reserves the right to change, amend, delete or add to these Contest Terms and Conditions without prior notice at any time. Participants agree to be bound to any such changes. Sangla Foods Sdn Bhd’s decision shall be final and binding. No correspondence shall be entertained.

 

How to Participate

Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter.

To participate the Contestants are required to complete the following steps:

• Have a Facebook account. The account privacy setting must be set to ‘Public’ for the entry to be collected.
• The contestant must correctly answer the questions in the comments section.

The participants can submit any number of images during the Contest Period, however each participant can only be awarded one prize or set of prizes.

The Organiser reserves the absolute right to reject any submission(s) at its sole and absolute discretion without having to assign any reason whatsoever.

The images that have been published elsewhere, whether in Facebook or otherwise, or won any prize in any competition may not be used as a submission again for this contest.

It is the sole responsibility of each participant to ensure that the Submission does not infringe copyright, privacy rights, regulations, orders or directions of any third party.

We reserve the right to remove any posts with unsuitable content. Any participant that posts/sends inappropriate comments will have their entry deleted.

 

Contest Period

The Contest will run from 21/11/2022 to 04/12/2022 (both dates inclusive) or such other period(s) which shall be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of The Organiser (“Contest Period”).

The Organiser may at its sole and absolute discretion extend the Contest Period at any time without any prior notice. Unless an Extended Period is announced, any Entries received after 04/12/2022 shall not be taken into consideration.

Any participation in the Contest during the Extended Period (if any) shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) which shall remain in full force and effect.

 

Winners and Prizes

There will be an overall total of three (3) winner(s) chosen by the judges that will each walk away with the selected prizes.

Each winner will receive a Shopee voucher for RM50 for Sangla Foods’ Official Shopee store.

All costs incurred for the collection of prizes will be borne by the individual winners. Winners shall solely be responsible for any taxes or duties payable, insurance, transportation, delivery charges and other ancillary costs involved in winning or using any prize.

The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to substitute any of the prizes with alternative prizes of similar or lesser value at any time without prior notice. Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable for cash, other items or vouchers in part or in full. and is not for resale.

The winner will be chosen in two stages. In the first stage, the Organiser will exclude all the incorrect answers from a shortlisted pool. In the second stage, the judges will randomly select the required number of participants to receive prizes among those that have successfully shortlisted. Only the final winners will be made known to the public.

The winners will be announced via Facebook. If a response is not received within two (2) weeks, the chosen winner will be forfeited.

The prizes will be delivered to the winner(s). As such, we will require the necessary contact details in order to deliver the prize.

The Organiser is not responsible for failure to contact any winners or any failure to deliver a prize as a result of invalid contact information provided.

The Organiser makes no warranties or representations whatsoever with respect to the prizes and will not be responsible nor liable for any problems and/or damage thereto or arising there from.

Winners hereby irrevocably agree and give consent to The Organiser to publish any related matter to the entries including and not limited to the Winners’ names, interviews and photographs for current and future advertising and promotional purposes.

The announcement of winners will be no later than ninety (90) working days after the end of each contest period.

The Submission must not contain material that violates, misappropriates, or infringes upon any law or regulation or the rights of any third party, including any copyright, trademark, or any rights of publicity or privacy, or any other intellectual property or proprietary rights;

The Submission must not disparage any person or entity.

The Submission must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene hateful, tortious, and/or defamatory;

The Submission must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and

The Submission must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any jurisdiction where Submission is created.

The Judges’ decision is final.

 

General Rules

The Organiser shall have the absolute right to cancel, terminate or suspend this event at any time without assigning any reason with adequate notice via the Organiser’s official website or Facebook page.

The Organiser reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify anyone deemed to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the event, to be acting in breach or potential breach of these Terms and Conditions and/or the Organiser’s Terms of Use Agreement. No correspondence shall be entertained.

Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to this shall be final and binding on all eligible participants of this event and no correspondence or appeal shall be entertained.

Under no circumstances will the Organiser be held liable for any loss or damages, including without limitation to loss of income, profits, goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties, howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with the Premium Item and/or this Contest. Even if the Organiser has been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance, all such damages are expressly excluded.

These Terms and Conditions shall prevail over any other provisions and/or representations contained in any other promotional materials advertising this Contest.

 

 

Disclaimer

Sangla Foods Sdn Bhd receives and processes your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy and the PDPA when you provide personal data to Sangla Foods Sdn Bhd.

Winners and/or their heirs shall assume full liability and responsibility in case of any liability, mishap, injury, damage, claim or accidents [including death] resulting from their participation in the Contest, redemption and/or utilisation of the prizes and agree to release and hold the Organiser free and harmless of any liability.

Under Malaysian Law, participants have the right to withdraw their consent to the use of their personal detail at any time by contacting info@sanglafoods.com and/or calling our office at +603-5569 2318 providing us the Participant’s name and email address to enable to remove it.

You acknowledge that you have agreed to our terms and conditions upon participation in the contest by allowing Sangla Foods Sdn Bhd to collect, use and process your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy and the PDPA for the following purposes:

• Sending you information related to online promotions, contests and events, and related to our marketing activities, unless you have indicated to us that you do not wish for us to process your personal data for such purposes;
• Using your information for marketing and statistical analysis for planning and demo-graphical use;
• Complying with local law and regulatory requirements or to assist in law enforcement and investigations by relevant authorities;
• Any other purposes related to our marketing activities.

By entering and participating, entrant agrees to hold harmless, defend and indemnify the Organiser from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), losses, costs or expenses, with respect to or arising out of or related to (i) entrant’s participation in the Contest, or (ii) entrant’s participation in any Prize related activities, acceptance of a Prize and/or use or misuse of a Prize (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s).

The Organiser accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestions on the internet or at any website, or any combination related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this Contest.
