5 Unique and Yummy Green Tea Recipes
1. Mint Lavender Green Tea
Start by pouring 12 cups of water into a pot on the stove or in a glass jar. If it’s summer, feel free to make sun tea using the glass jar. For winter, make it on the stove for soothing relief from the cold.
Add to the 12 cups of water 2 sprigs of mint and 4 green tea teabags. Before placing 3/4 of a tablespoon of dried lavender into the mix, place lavender into a tea ball.
If brewing your Mint and Lavender Green tea on the stove allow the water to come just short of boiling and then allow tea to steep anywhere for 1 minute to 7 minutes depending on how strong you enjoy your tea. If you’re making sun tea, allow 24 hours for the tea to sit in a well-lit location and brew. Lastly, remove the herbs and store leftovers in the fridge.

2. Honey Lemon Green Tea
Feeling a little under the weather? This yummy recipe will make you feel better in no time!
Brew one cup of green tea using a tea bag and 8 to 10 ounces of water. Slice up a lemon into small slices, preferably into eighths. Place one small slice of lemon in brewed green tea.
Then add about a half of a tablespoon of honey. Voila!
3. Ginger Orange Green Tea
Slice an orange into fourths. Then, brew one cup of green tea using quality water. Add in one orange slice with or without the rind. Then add in 1/4 of a teaspoon of ginger.
If you prefer a bit of sweetness in this green tea recipe, add in a a few drops of honey.
4. Green Tea Strawberry Mint Smoothie
Brew 12 cups of green tea using 4 tea bags the night prior to making your smoothie. Refrigerate your green tea so it is nice and cold in the morning.
Begin making your smoothie by slicing 12 large strawberries into fourths. Set Aside. Gather 2 sprigs of mint and wash each.
Get out your blender and place the strawberries and mint into the blender. Then add ice filling your blender until the fill line markings, usually about 3/4 of the blender container. Add in green tea and blend.

5. Nutmeg Cinnamon Green Tea
Perfect for fall weather while enjoying a bonfire with friends and family!
Brew one 8 to 10 oz cup of green tea using one tea bag. Add in 1/8 of a teaspoon of nutmeg and 1/8 of a teaspoon of cinnamon. To spice this up even more add in a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.
To sweeten this fall beverage, add in a squirt or two of honey and stir.
